Children are all time fun to have them around the elders and grandparents in the family. It is indeed a fact to know that both parents and children wait eagerly for summer and winter vacations to begin to that they can pack their bags and set out themselves for a vacation to spend quality time with family where everyone gets to learn, enjoy and have fun with family.
It is during the vacations that the children tend to learn a lot with the family apart from the school's education and education apart from books. It is essential that the children are taught other lessons of life like to set out for a family trip, pack their stuff neatly and appropriately, carry themselves in a responsible manner and also learn things from their parents like those of management and handling tasks, because children learn by observing their parents and elders, which makes it essential to set kids out on the vacations, tours and excursions.
It is very essential that we understand the psyche of the children and keep their interests in mind. An interesting way to make their vacation more fun and a making it to be a learning experience is by putting for a list of options before children and asking them to make a choice amongst the options made available to them and also take their view points. Imposition of ideas does not do much good and wonders and instead they should be asked as to what would they like to do in the vacations, where would they like to go out on vacations.
Children have their own ways to add that special magic spell to any of the tour, or vacation with their own charisma of acting out in their ways. The comments that they make bring on smile to everyone and are a pleasure for everyone. Also, they make up for the mood of everyone, by making them to drive away from any of the tensions and make everyone on the trip to enjoy.
I ll ensure that my kids have the best time during vacations by giving them ample choices to learn, by allowing them to follow their hobbies and leisure activities, also taking them out on a long vacation accompanied by short tours which would enable to broaden their view on life and learn things in a more convenient manner, because learning by seeing has a longer impact, as it is well known that real learning is better than reel learning. Vacations is the best time to impart children with real life learning from the experiences on their own. It is a pleasure to see the children learn and grow in front of your eyes, which are great moments for any parents. Thus, ensuring a quality time for the children during their vacations by ensuring active learning for them would be a great time for me and my children.
Immense importance and value should be given to children's opinion as it would instill in them the leadership qualities like that of decision making and being thoughtful, and taking rightful decisions in their life which would be adding value to the life's activities. Children are in the learning phase of their life as kids, their learning and growth process should not be hampered by imposing decisions and things on them. They should be given enough amount of quality freedom and choice to be presented so that they can make decisions based on their choices and rationale, concerning their mental set-up and development.
