The Result Day!

We humans have a craving for making each day a special and a memorable one. It is important for each one of us to realize the value of time and take the necessary steps to achieve the best in life because nothing comes easy in life and we need to make special efforts to make things happen and make the days of life as the memorable days.

I would like to narrate one of the memorable days of my life which gave me a lot of memories and I spent the entire day in great mood ana fun with friends and family.

It was back in 2008 when the 12th standard boards results were declared. It was on that day that the unexpected had happened and I was one among the best scorers in Delhi. I started getting calls from school, from my teachers, from my relatives and friends. Everyone around me was congratulating me and my parents. My parents were feeling proud about me and my result. They were happy with my result.

Few of my friends dropped at my place in no time and we all started to make plans for the party. Even my whole family sank in the mood of partying and then there was no looking back. We all friends and family were around 20 people and so we booked a table for 20 people in the restaurant in Connaught Place for 7 pm. 

Meanwhile the whole day, I was so occupied with the calls. I was feeling happy about my results and there was a sense of achievement within me. Everyone in the family was happy. 

The best part of the day was when my mother hugged me and blessed me for keep doing the great work and reaching new levels and heights of achievements. The second best moment was when my father patted my shoulders for a great result and making him feel proud.

By 7 everyone was there at the hotel. We all sat for the dinner and had the most amazing conversations. Also, the plans of future came up in the discussion where every possible joke was cracked on the table.

My best friend, Neha, arrived little late, but she was there with cake which she herself prepared for me, as she knew the flair I have for her handmade cakes. She also got me a lovely greeting and a guitar. She was there with all the surprises in store for me after the announcements of the results in the morning. 

At around 10, we all got up and decided to leave for home. Neha accompanied me to my home for she wanted the celebrations to continue. As we reached home, I found the keys of new honda activa on my table as a gift from my parents.  There were surprises one after the other. I wish the day had no end and I could continue to enjoy the day endlessly.

This is one of the most memorable day that I enjoyed with my family and friends by being together and bringing joys to everyone around.

A Start to a New Life

Living up a life of one's own hopes, wishes, desires, and aspirations is a big dream come true. To make life comfortable and happening according to our won wishes and desires we need to be courageous enough to take the bold and essential steps that would take us a step closer to our destination and towards the fulfillment of goals and ambitions that we carried a long way with ourselves. It is important to be clear with our vision and must take the essential steps that are needed because there is no point in repenting about the steps that we did not take in life which were needed to be taken at certain points in life. Also, we never come out of the repentance if do not take the steps. Failure is still accepted, but not the fact of not trying to give it a try.

I wanted to be an engineer since my high school days and was studying for it. Being the youngest one in the family, I was engaged in tiny activities in the home, due to which I failed to get sufficient time for the preparations and studying for the entrance exams. It was getting difficult for me to face the problems that I was facing with my studies. 

One fine day, when I was about to give up for the engineering graduation plans, I decided to talk to my parents. They were rigid enough to not send their kids to hostels for they thought that hostel life spoils the child and they become naughty for the rest of their lives.

I made them talk to my teachers and other seniors who had the experience of staying away from family and preparing for the exams. They were little convinced on talking to them. I still did not give up on convincing my parents to take up this crucial decision for me and allow me to stay in the school hostel for my exams. Though my parents were convinced of the potential I had and about my skills to clear the exams, but they were scared of the view of sending me away from home. Their fears were also not wrong since no one had ever stepped out from the family for staying in hostels and schools for their studies.

After I was done with my half yearly exams, and with a slow down in my performance as compared to earlier times which was not deliberate, my parents gave it a second thought of sending me away from home for my higher sceondary education. I had my own fears in my mind of staying away from family and carrying all of my activities on my own which were earlier taken care by my mother.

My father got me admitted in the school hostel and blessed me to carry out my studies in the best possible manner and excel in life. 

Then I spent nearly two years of my life in hostel, learned a lot of things like how to carry out my other activities apart from studying, good management skills to balance all the activities and cracked the exams. I got into the engineering college of my choice and made everyone in the family proud and happy.

That was an important step I took in my life to convince my parents and step out of the home for the first time to achieve my subsequent aim which made me stand where I am today.

Life and optimism

Optimism is a choice and a way of life. We should inculcate the habit of being optimistic in our lives and give our best shot at whatever comes across our way.

There are lots of moments in life that have filled me with optimism and keep me high on hopes for the future. I would b happy to share a small story that infused optimism in me and filled me with great hopes and aspirations for the future. Optimism gives a better perspective and shape to the life. Also, it makes difficult situations to fade away, making things seem possible, easy and comfortable.

It was in March 2008 that I wrote my 12th standard board exams, and I was preparing for medical entrance exams. Also, two of my first cousins were getting married which could not be missed and one cannot escape making excuses for not attending family functions. 

My parents kept me motivating during those times and always stood beside me whenever I was feeling down due to the pressure. I was little afraid, for they had hopes from me to excel and perform the best. Also, in the first entrance exam, I did not perform good. I was gripped and filled with fears. I stopped enjoying and being part of the celebrations that were going around. There was negativity being instilled in me with the bad performance in the exam. I held myself from the fun which my cousins were having. I was drowned in my own self created pressure.

My dad was noticing the change in my actions and after a span of few days he talked to me. He started discussing things with me, and told me a lot of stories and instances of success and failures in life. Also, he narrated few of his own experiences. He read my mind so aptly that he decided to teach me some life's lessons, giving all the time that he had in the world to me.

In the midst of all that was happening around, he decided to take me on a short trip and make me optimistic about life and its offerings. I was gaining back my confidence with my father's confidence in me and giving me the best lessons of life to me. From then on, I decided to be always optimistic in life and to build good hopes for the future by enjoying the present and fusing our best efforts in the tasks that we do. Life shall give us the best and desired results, for it is a beautiful life, worries worsen the situations. 

We should not shed and shy away from any sort of difficulties or tough situations that life may present us and must be optimistic enough to handle them in the best manner and give our best possible in the various spheres of life. Optimism plays a big role in making the things fall in place and we must make the wisest efforts to present ourselves in a decent way before life.

Bedtime Rituals

Constraint free life!

A constraint free life is a great hope and desire of any individual which is indeed a great blessing in life. It is a great wish on the list for every individual to have a constraint free life. I wish every person had a constraint free life and fulfills all the dreams and aspirations that one has in life with the best of resources and mechanisms available at one's disposal.

It is important that one makes the best things possible in life for oneself and the others, infact most of our efforts should go out in the service of humanity and make this planet a more peaceful and loving place to live in.

The five things I would take up if my life had been constraint free and without all the hassles are :

1 Providing adequate means od healthcare facilities in the villages and remote areas of India: There are lots of places in Indian villages that lack the basic healthcare facilities. The females do not have proper child delivery hospitals and healthcare facilities. The children also lack the healthcare facilities. Providing means of better basic health facilities is a prime agenda on my list had my life been constraint free. Also, if possible shall make arrangements of free availability of medicines for the needy and poor people.

2 Educating the poor masses and making several awareness programmes and campaigns: The spread of education to all the areas and corners of the country is a desire that I hold on my list. I wish I would be able to fulfill my this dream. I wish that every citizen of this country is educated and provide them the means of basic learning facilities. This would prevent the poor people from being cheated. 

3 Taking up initiative for providing food and other basic amenities for the poor people: There are millions of people in India who do not get adequate meals even twice a day. I wish I could make this desire of every individual to be fulfilled in my country that would make every sleep comfortable at the end of the day with proper food available for them. Taking care of the nutritional fulfillment of the children of India would be a great desire being fulfilled of mine on my list.

4 Making arrangements for the old age people: It is a great pain to see the homeless and aged people. These people are helpless to look for any paid job for their needs fulfillment. It is important that these people are well served and taken care. They should be given the best of facilities in their old age.

5 Taking up initiative for treatment of street animals: It is a menace to see the street animals suffering from diseases or any accident, lying on the roads unserved. It is important to serve life of the animals. They are the inhabitants of life on earth as we human beings. It is our duty to serve them with love and humanity. I shall take up initiatives to serve the road-side and street animals such as cows and dogs, that lay untreated. Also, making veterinary hospitals for them which could be easily accessible.

I wish to fulfill these aspirations and dreams which would make the life seem fulfilled and satisfied. It is important to attain satisfaction and make our lives seem happier.
